Our family LOVES audiobooks!  I love that I can find time to read without feeling like I’m being lazy.  I’m not just reading a book – I’m folding laundry, or driving kids to soccer practice, or scrubbing toilets!  Ok, or maybe I’m just sitting down eating ice cream, but it’s easier if I don’t have to turn the pages!  We’ve had a subscription since 2009 and have well over 1000 books in our library.  It’s been great for our dyslexic children to gain a love of books without having the skill of reading.

I have two posts that will help you get started on Audible.  This post has tips and tricks for getting the most out of your subscription.  This post has recommendations for some of my favorite books – particularly ones that are available on Audible.  Our subscription has easily been some of the best money we’ve spent over the last 15 years!
